ARTIST BIO

Drumatico Paradiso lives on the magic island of Gotland, in the middle of the Baltic Sea. DP has a long history and range of inspiration, as well as creating and performing, in electronic music. From early new beat, decadent and violent body music and industrial, through the hedonistic acid and rave era, up to the present creative ecclectic recyclement of the many musical waters under the bridge since. DP has somewhat settled on techno/techhouse style, ambient music, but never left the original experimental and transcendental approach.

Added to the above, major influences for DP is deep house, dub, tribal techno and athmospheric drum and bass. Sublime, psychedelic and/or innovative factors especially always ignites inspiration. DP:s music is experimental to an extent, exploring boundaries and striving to unite opposing elements. Pairing complex arrangements with minimal parts, using contrasts between meditative, almost cinematic ambient soundscapes and raw pushing, techno-grooves, for instance. There is a certain flare for ethnic percussion and a hint of esoteric philosophy behind DPs music where tracks often aim to become a kind of shamanic, explorative path of sound vibration travel.
